This would be a good “go to” pattern for a quick easy way to warm hands for any age, in three styles.
This pattern includes options for Half Fingered gloves, Full Fingered gloves, or Mittens, in 7 sizes.
The left and right hands mirror each other, and they are knit in the round with an afterthought thumb.
Because the pdf is 8 pages, I have arranged this pattern so that you are able to print only what you need for your convenience.

Make these from a written pattern loaded with tips on how and when to alter your glove/mitten to fit you like a ….well, glove(pun intended). Average measurements are given for those times when you dont have a hand to measure.

crochet provisional cast on

You will need approx. 50-250 yards of worsted or aran weight smooth yarn, depending on size you make. Listed above, are some of the yarns my testers used.

US 7 (4.5 mm) and US 6(4.0mm) circular or DPN’s, crochet hook, scrap yarn and darning needle.
