Spring consists of farmer’s markets, flowers and temperate weather, hence the need for this lightweight hat. This project is designed to incorporate new techniques to expand your knitting skills.

It includes variations for all over stripes or no stripes.

Starting with a two-color cast on, you’ll find yourself flying through the colorwork chart. Please note the colorwork is charted only.

Pattern Details:

Recommended Yarn: 1 skein each of Malabrigo Rios in Plomo and Cancer; Rios. Or any worsted weight yarns in two contrasting colors

Recommended Needles: US 7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular needles and DPNs and US 8 (5mm) 16” circular needles (for colorwork chart only). Or size needed to achieve gauge

Gauge: 5 sts x 6 rows = 1” (20 sts x 24 rows = 10cm) in Stockinette Stitch. 4.75 sts = 1” (19 sts = 10cm) in Flower chart

Finished Dimensions: 21” circumference x 9 ¾” length
