This pattern was original published as part of the 6 Muffatee Mystery Knit Along.

The historic muffatee pattern dates to1843. I have rewritten and charted the pattern to make it easier to read and understand. The wavy stitch pattern looks similar to Feather and Fan (Old Shale) with a few slight differences. this pattern could also be used to make lovely socks or stockings.
