Felted Dice Trays
This dice tray is worked in the round from the center out, and felted for sturdiness. The corners are joined together with snaps or buttons, and it folds flat for storage or transport.
The pattern uses Queensland Collection Shetland Lite, held double throughout. Substitute any non-superwash 100% wool fingering weight (held double) or worsted weight (held single). For color planning purposes, the bottom of the tray uses about 25g, and the sides another 25g. Knit the bottom in one color and the sides in another, or work stripes, or hold two colors together for a marled effect - whatever you like!
