I love the look of off-centered designs and knew I wanted to create a hat using that same element. This pattern creates a fitted hat with a fern design inset.

I’ve used Stonehedge Fiber Mill Shepherd’s Wool in the raspberry colorway. I love how the plied yarn makes the fern pattern stand out.

This hat measures 7 1/2” in height and 17” around at ribbing. As a point of reference, the measurement from the bottom of one ear around the top of my head to the bottom of the other ear is 16”. If your measurement is larger you can either knit an additional repeat or increase the rows of ribbing.
