Filigran Stole is a rectangular version of Verdigreen and Filigreen, made as part of a collection of stoles & scarves at the request of the knitters of the Nimble Knits group.

It is a rectangular stole with an unusual filigree tracery over a textured background. The filigree can be worked to form straight lines or spread out into lozenges like a trellis. It shows off a pair of solid colours or gradients, or a pair of beautifully dappled gradients as pictured here.

  • The pattern can be worked entirely from the written instructions, or from chart with some notes.
  • Suits lace to fingering weight yarn.
  • Length, width, and yardage are all adaptable.

The Book of Stolen Moments 2 is a collection of 4 engaging patterns (2 rectangles and 2 parallelograms) that can be worked as stoles or scarves. They are ideal for gifting, relaxation knitting, and picking up in odd little moments here and there.

My project page with notes on all 4 patterns in the first collection (lace), and in the 2nd collection (stripes) can be found here.

My thanks to catnach, RivendellKnitter, alpacaspinner, caroleehughes, mamasue, pennyheynes, BelePetra, Ericson23, delalamo, luthier, and PeacefullKnitter for making this happen. :)
