Finding Silver is an asymmetrical shawl featuring three delicate cable panels set against a backdrop of simple texture. It is worked as a single piece from the narrow tip upwards.

Once the width of the three cable panels has been established, the pattern settles into an easy-to-memorise four-row repeat, making this a relaxing and enjoyable project to crochet.

The name Finding Silver is a tribute to my dad, who had a wonderful ability to find the silver lining in everything. Even during difficult times, he always looked for something positive to hold onto.

22 sts and 16 rows over alternating rows of sc/dc = 10cm/4”
