The Finestra Sweater with filigree sleeves brings that touch of exciting elegance and classical romance to your wardrobe! The raglan design is comfortable to wear, flatters all figures, and additional filigree detailing at the side seams enhances the feminine form.

Being top-down and seamless in construction, you can easily try your fit as you go. No short rows required.

There is almost zero sewing at the end - just block the sweater to open up the filigree pattern on the sleeves, and you’re ready to go! Instructions for modifying sleeve length are provided, if you want a short-sleeved top in summery cotton instead.

Yarn Substitutions:
Feel free to substitute for any other 8 ply yarn you like! The versions pictured here have been made with Fiori DK IV (midnight blue) and Australian Bendigo Woollen Mills Whisper 8 ply (Carambola). Both are 100% superfine merino wool that are luxurious on the skin, with a lovely silky sheen. However, the pattern should also work beautifully with summer yarns like cotton.

950 (1060, 1150, 1375, 1480, 1535, 1830) yards

Skill Level:
Intermediate to advanced. You will need to be able to read charts.

Do a swatch with your yarn and BLOCK before you start.
