This pattern is for a simple but lovely pair of fingerless mittens. This would be a great first time project for someone new to crochet, but would also be suitable as a quick and satisfying project for a seasoned crocheter!

The mittens are constructed in the round, from the top down. I used Patons Dew in shade ‘Pool’, but these would work when made from any aran/worsted weight yarn. One pair used one skein so they are also a great stash buster, and would make a lovely gift. They will keep you warm but are light enough to wear into Spring on those chillier evenings.

Changing the size of the gloves would be a simple process of just putting fewer chains into the beginning foundation chain. The size in the pattern fit a large adult. They could also be made longer very easily (details contained in pattern).
Though the pattern is written in US terminology, it contains brief UK equivalents for those who need them.
