This beautiful shawl features eye-catching large cables and textures to create a warm & cosy winter wrap.

It is worked as an asymmetric, bias triangle in a textured, garter-based fabric with big, fluffy cables.

The pattern includes both charted and row-by-row written instructions.

My original sample was made in aran weight yarn, but you can really knit this in any yarn weight and to any size you like. It’s a “knit-until-you-run-out-of-yarn” type of pattern and has been tested in multiple yarns from fingering to aran.

I hope you enjoy the pattern!

YARN
Designed for worsted-aran weight yarn. Allow approx. 576 m / 630 yds to get the size of the sample. The pattern is very easily adjustable for other yarn weights and/or yardages, and has also been tested in fingering, dk and worsted weight.

Malabrigo Yarn Worsted (aran weight, 100g = 192 m / 210 yds), 3 skeins in colourway Polar Morn

GAUGE & NEEDLES
Not critical for this project but differences will affect yardage requirements and the finished size.
