A simple, snug fitting hat and mitten set for every
day use. Knit in the round in stocking/stockinette
stitch, the mittens have a gusseted thumb and the hat has a shaped crown.

Please note that this pattern is for a single colour hat.
Instructions for the optional stripes are not given.

Yarn: DK, or two strand of 4ply/fingering weight
Hat: 75-100 g/150-200 m (US: 165-220 yards)
Mittens: 80-100 g/160-200 m (US: 175-220 yards)

Needles: DPNs 3mm & 4mm (US size: 2,5 & 6)
Or 80cm (US: 32 inches) circular needle for Magic Loop)

Gauge: 20-22st,28-30 rows = 10cm x 10 cm (US: 4 x 4 inches) Finished hat is approx. 21 cm (US: 8,5 inches)

Miscellaneous: 1 stitch marker, darning or tapestry needle, scissors
