This is a colourwork chart for Tamil lettering, with some additional guidelines for executing a vest. The text reads “Mudal Mozhi” or “first language” in the front, and reads “Uuyir” or “life” in the back, surrounded by all the Tamil vowels in a smaller font (in Tamil, vowels are called “life letters”).

It’s a humble homage to my mother tongue and a first attempt at adding Tamil fonts to yarn art.
