Fiskur was a 33-foot fishing boat based on Magerøya in Nordkapp, where I grew up in the small fishing village of Gjesvær. The design is a tribute to my memories of growing up in this coastal community, to the fishing boat Fiskur and to the coastal fishermen.

Fiskur is worked from the bottom up with a circular yoke shaped with decreases. The sweater is worked in the round in stockinette stitch and stranded colorwork.

Gauge: 18 stitches and 24 rounds = 10 cm
