Fiúise
{few-shuh} Irish: fuchsia

Walking home at dusk, I always notice the fuchsia hedges that grow along the side of the road. As the light slowly drains from the sky, their dangling forms glow like jewels against the backdrop of evening shadows.

Inspired by this imagery, Fiúise is a circular yoke pullover, featuring a colourwork yoke and a delicate picot edged neckline. Designed to be worked in sport-weight yarn at a relaxed gauge, this is a lightweight garment with nice drape, which further accentuates the dripping colour effect of the floral motif. Combining tonal and lightly variegated yarns offers limitless possibilities for blended colour effects.
