Two-Colour Brioche Gothic Window Pane Jumper
A striking two-colour brioche jumper featuring a dramatic yoke inspired by stained-glass Gothic window panes. The intricate brioche pattern creates beautiful texture and dimension, making the yoke the centrepiece of this elegant design.
The jumper is worked top-down, beginning with the brioche front and back yoke sections worked separately. The shoulders are then joined, before the work is joined in the round to continue the body in classic stocking stitch. A gentle increase centre of the body creates a flattering, subtle shape, finishing with a beautifully textured brioche hem.
The sleeves are picked-up and knitted in the round, keeping construction simple and seamless, and are finished with coordinating two-colour brioche cuffs.
Designed for DK-weight yarn and available in multiple sizes, this pattern combines the drama of intricate brioche with the simplicity of a mostly stocking-stitch body—an elegant statement knit with a beautifully architectural finish.
