The Flames lace pattern is an easy lace pattern, that you will quickly memorize, but you do need to move the marker on a couple of the rounds to change the start of the row (SOR). Changing the SOR when marked on the chart will keep the lace pattern lined up correctly. The places where you move the marker are noted in the chart and in the line-by-line directions.

Includes chart and line-by-line directions.

Thanks to Andrea Jurgrau for her help with the chart for this pattern!

Errata: There is an error in the written directions in the first version of the pattern. Rounds 1, 3, 5, and 7 should read:

Round 1: K1, YO, K3, DVD, K3, YO
Round 3: Slip M, K1, YO, K3, DVD, K3, YO
Round 5: Slip M, K1, YO, K3, DVD, K3, YO
Round 7: Slip M, K1, YO, K3, DVD, K3, YO

If you downloaded Flames Cowl v 2, you have the updated pattern.
