The Flap hat is worked bottom up in stockinette stitch with one strand of worsted weight yarn or two strands of dk/sport + lace yarn held together.
Body of the hat is worked on 4.0 mm US 6 needles.
There are available two different sizes of flaps and both are worked on 3.0 mm US 2.5 needles using double knitting technique.
Bead on top of the hat and flap laces are worked with a 3.0mm crochet hook.
No sewing is needed. Pattern contains pictures for showing used techniques.

Sizes: S (M) L the approx. equivalent to teen/woman (woman) man.

Measurements: Fits head circumference 50-54 (54-57) 57-61 cm 19.75-21.25 (21.25-22.5) 22.5-24 inches.

Gauge: 15-16 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches in stockinette stitch on 4.0 mm US 6 needles.

Needles:
Circular needles: 4.0 mm US 6 / 40 or 50 cm 16 or 20 inches,
Double-pointed needles: 4.0 mm US 6 / omit if working magic loop,
Circular needles or double-pointed needles: 3.0 mm US 2.5.

Hook: 3.0mm.

Yarn: Approx. 120-160 m 130-175 yds worsted weight yarn or 120-160 m 130-175 yds dk weight or sport weight boucle yarn + 120-160 m 130-175 yds lace weight yarn.

The white flap hat is knitted in YarnHome Merino wool DK dye base and Suri Alpaca lace dye base

The brown flap hat is knitted in DROPS Alpaca Boucle (0602) and FuroraYarns Life (dark beige)
