Flapper is inspired by the style of the 1920’s, and its beautiful lacework. Sometimes you need something just a bit more feminine! Flapper is available as a single pattern, or as part of the eBook Flapper Trio.

Flapper is knit in the round from the bottom hem to the underarm. It begins with a charted lace pattern to create a scalloped hem, then transitions into stocking stitch for the body. At the underarm, stitches are cast off, and the front and back are worked flat and separately up to the shoulders. Lace is incorporated into the upper yoke. After seaming the shoulders, the sleeves are picked up from the armhole edge and worked down to the cuff using short rows to shape the sleeve cap. The collar is picked up last and worked in the round.
