The warmth of spring and the heat of summer bring out a frenzy of activity in all of us. The flowers are brilliantly blooming, the bees are a buzzing, and doors are flung open invitingly playing music and letting in the sunshine. It’s a time of year for movement and dancing, and boy does this duster match the vibe. Layer it over a cute top, or even sport it as a swimsuit coverup – then rock and sway like Stevie would.

PATTERN NOTES
This Duster is available in a short version, falling approximately to the knees, and a long version, falling approximately to the floor.

This Duster is constructed in pieces which are worked flat from the bottom up, then seamed together.

Next, Flower Granny Squares are made separately to accent the Duster. Squares are sewn together to form strips. Strips are then sewn to sleeve cuffs, front panels, and bottom hem.

The finished dimensions provided and seen in the schematic are before blocking has occurred. This yarn and stitch pattern produce a loose fabric with excellent drape. The finished project can be expected to stretch an additional 3-6” in size after blocking.
