The headband is worked in the round as a tube, using double-pointed needles or the magic loop technique on a circular needle. The headband features a cable pattern on the front and stockinette stitch on the inside. The headband is worked to the stated length, or to approximately 2 cm less than the measured head circumference. Finally, the headband is sewn together in a way that creates a neat knot/twist at the front.

This is the perfect project for using up leftover yarn! Keep in mind that all yarns behave differently, so if you use a different yarn, you may need to adjust the length before binding off. :)
