Fleur Sweater
About this pattern:
This pattern is a dropped shoulder sweater. This pattern is knitted from the top down, using circular needles. You will first work flat to make back top of the sweater. After you have completed that, you will pick up stitches for each shoulder to begin the front of the sweater.
You can customize the fit for the sweater depending on how you want it to took. My circumference is 35 inches (89 cm), the first sweater (Blue) I knitted a size 2 which has a positive ease of 4 inches. For the second sweater (Pink), I knitted a size 3 to have a positive ease of 8 inches.
The first sweater was knitted using Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt held together with Tynn Silk Mohair.
The second sweater was knitted using Knitting For Olive Heavy Merino.
Customized Ribbing- Neck and Body:
You can adjust the ribbing on the sweater to however long you want the neck and body to be. If you want a short collar, you can knit 1 or 2 inches (2.5 to 5 cm) or you can even double rib if you desire (like I did with the second sweater). As per the body, I knitted 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) at the bottom, but if you want your sweater to fit longer, knit more inches.
