The Flock Party Shawl is a classic garter stitch shawl, knit in a kite shaped construction with some contrasting stripes in increasing size. There are two size options in order to accommodate different skein yardage and preferences! Both are reasonably large shawls, but the small provides the same look but uses a bit less yardage so you are able to use a variety of fingering weight skeins that may have less yardage per skein as the yarn I used.

Finished Size
Large: ~75 inches wingspan, ~25 inches in depth (blocked, laid flat)
Small: ~70 inches wingspan, ~23 inches in depth (blocked, laid flat)
Note: size may vary depending on the stretch of your yarn and the tension of your knitting.
Yarn Required
MC: 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn
CC: 1 skein of fingering weight yarn
I used Porter Wool Co – Merino/Nylon 4 Ply (463 yds / 100 g) in the colours Woodsmoke (MC) and Dove (CC).
If your skeins have a different yardage, that should still work ok, as I had a bit of excess yarn leftover for both my skeins. I have also provided two size options so you can choose the better option based on your available yardage.
Yardage Required
MC:
Large: ~900 yds (~195 g but the grams/yardage may vary if you use a different base/dyer)
Small: ~800 yds (~173 g)
CC:
Large: ~390 yds (~85 g but the grams/yardage may vary if you use a different base/dyer)
Small: ~370 yds (~80 g)
