Flock Socks
The Flock Socks are a celebration of my newest phase of life as a shepherd. This whimsical stranded colorwork sock pattern features a sky blue cuff, grassy-green body scattered with a grazing flock of Shetlands with their tiny stick-legs, and the real charm hides on the optional duplicate stitch heels: one showcases a single, wandering sheep, while the other displays their loyal guardian sheepdog keeping watch. I designed these socks as a love letter to Woolen Pond Farm, especially my precious ewe, Opal, who is pretty sure she is a dog, and her bestie, Fitz, the Great Pyrenees, who lets her get away with eating from his food bowl. I hope this pattern brings you as much joy as these animals bring me!
