These mittens are a standard ladies’ size with a delicate floral pattern on the hand. They are knitted bottom up starting with a long tail purl cast on, two-stranded, and with a gusseted thumb. The cuff has a lace pattern at the bottom, and a vine patterned around it. The decreases for the tip are made in the sides, creating a pointed tip. The final stitches are grafted together (e.g. using the Kitchener stitch).

The pattern has written instructions (for knitting with dpns), charts, and lots of photos. It also has a separate section called Tips & Explanations, where you find useful tips for how to get the best result, including a stitch by stitch explanation for the first rounds of the thumb.

Separate pdf with all charts right side up for digital trackers.
