If you´d like to purchase both pullover and cardigan or even the whole Flow package, add two or all three of them to your cart and use the code FLOW to get them 20% off.

Enjoy!

Flow DK is the cooler-season sibling to the original Flow pattern. Worked in a thicker yarn or, as in the case of my sample, with two thinner yarns held together, this pullover is the perfect companion to keep you warm in winter.

PATTERN NOTES:
The garment is worked in the round from the top down, starting with a folded, twisted rib neckband, followed by the decorative cable motif on the yoke.
Short rows are used to raise the back and improve the fit at the neckline. Shaping is done within the cable pattern, finishing with a few increase rounds at the bottom of the yoke. Once this is complete, body and sleeves are separated.
The piece is turned inside out to work the body and the sleeves.

The pattern also provides some helpful tips on how to adjust it to suit your own preferences.

SIZES:
1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9)

to fit chest circumference 75 (85, 95, 105, 115)(125, 135,145, 155) cm/30 (34, 38, 42, 46) (50, 54,58, 62)“

I recommend choosing a size with 7.5 cm/3” - 20 cm/8” positive ease to get a comfortable fit. Samples are shown in size 3, worn with approx. 14 cm/5½“ positive ease on a 94.5/37¼” chest.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Chest circumference: 88.5 (98.5, 108.5, 117.5,128.5) (138.5, 147.5, 158.5, 168.5) cm/35¼ (39½, 43½, 47½, 51½) (55½, 59½, 63¼, 67½)“.

More detailed measurements are shown in the schematic in the photos.

YARN:
The Uncommon Thread - Uncommon Everyday (100% Wool - Merino; 402 m (440 yd)/100 g) -fingering weight.

Garnstudio - Drops Kid-Silk (75% Goat - Mohair/25% Silk; 210 m (230 yd)/25 g) - lace weight.

Both yarns are held together.

Sample shown in colorways:
Into Dusk (Uncommon Everyday)
3 (3, 3, 4, 4) (4, 5, 5, 5) skeins

Light Lavender (Drops Kid-Silk)
5 (6, 6, 7, 7) (8, 8, 9, 9) skeins

Or any other DK weight yarn or combination of yarns that gives you a fabric you like at the listed gauge.

YARDAGE:
Approx. 997 (1077, 1182, 1274, 1383) (1508, 1620, 1733, 1869) m/1090 (1178, 1293, 1393, 1512) (1649, 1772, 1895, 2044) yd of each yarn, both held together, or in one strand of DK weight yarn
worked only.

NEEDLES:
4.5 mm/US 7 circular needle (100 cm/40” 80 cm/32” and 60 cm/24”) or size needed for gauge.
4.0 mm/US 6 circular needle (80 cm/32” and 60 cm/24”) or one size smaller than gauge needle.

GAUGE:
22 sts and 28 rnds in 10 cm/4” on larger needle in stockinette, with both yarns held together, worked in the round (blocked).

Row gauge is especially important for this design, since it defines the yoke depth and therefore the fit around the shoulders.

OTHERS:
Tapestry needle
Stitch markers
Waste yarn
