The pattern uses approximately 350yds/320m of fingering weight yarn in a main colour AND 93yds/85m (approx. 10g) of a fingering weight yarn in a contrast colour (or laceweight mohair held double). The sample shown uses a 100g skein of fingering weight yarn from The Camels Yarn in the colourway Stone (75% Merino, 25% nylon) (465yds/425m per 100g) AND 10g of a laceweight mohair silk (72% kid mohair, 28% silk) (459yds/420m per 50g).
