Recommended materials:

  • Fingering/ 4ply weight yarn (50g/ 150m/ 165yds): Yarn A: 220g/ 660m/ 726yds in grey for motifs and strap, Yarn B: 180g/ 540m/ 594yds in lilac for lining and drawstrings.

  • Important: for Lithuanian linen yarn choose 3ply or 100g/600m/ 660yds option from the ply drop-down choice of 1, 2, 3, or 4 (it’s not yarn weight but number of strands in this particular yarn) and double yarn by combining 2 ends, one from inside and another from outside of each skein which results in fingering/ 4ply yarn weight. You can find more Lithuanian linen yarn on etsy.com, but look for mentioned grams/ meters/ yards ratio and double for 50g/ 150m/ 165yds result.

  • Crochet hooks 2.75-3mm for the bag, 1.8mm for drawstring only, 1

  • 10cm/ 4’’ cardboard or plastic canvas winding board for tassels, tapestry needle, hand-sewing needle, matching motifs color sewing thread,
