Fluffy Hearts Sweater born from the desire to create a soft, warm and romantic sweater.
The sweater is worked in the round, seamless, bottom-up, starting from the ribbed edge and going straight in stockinette stitch up to the bust.. The sleeves are worked separately from the body (I used the magic loop 2 at a time) are then joined to the body in the yoke. The circular yoke is characterized by the heart lace pattern, then short rows will be made to lift the neck back. The edges are worked in 2x2 rib stitch. In conclusion the stitches are sewn under the armpits.
The sweater is designed for a close-fit to the body with a few cm/inches of ease.

SKILL LEVEL AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Intermediate/Experienced
The following skills are required: increasing, decreasing, knitting in the round on a circular needle, Wrap & Turn short rows, invisible seam.

MATERIALS:
Circular needles:
­ 5mm/ U. S. 8 (80 cm/32”)
­ 6 mm/ U. S. 10 (60 cm/24” – 80 cm/32”).

Yarn needle, 2 stitch markers.

YARN:
The pattern uses 1 strand of each of the two following yarns worked together. Next find the directions to replace them with a single yarn.
Yarn 1 – Are needed about 650 (700, 800, 890, 1005) m/ 715 (770, 880, 980, 1105) yd of the yarn Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk (77% alpaca, 23% silk, 25 g, 140m) color off white 01. Replace it as an alternative to a Aran/Worsted type yarn (MEDIUM weight category), with which achieve the same gauge.
Yarn 2 – Are needed about 790 (875, 1000, 1110, 1260) m/870 (965, 1100, 1225, 1390) yd of the yarn Drops Baby Merino (100% merino wool, 50g, 175m) color off white 02. Replace it as an alternative to a Sport type yarn (FINE weight category) , with which achieve the same gauge.
Single Yarn - Replace both yarns with one of the BULKY weight category. Make sure always to achieve the correct gauge of the swatch after having washed it and dried on a flat surface.

MEASURES
Bust circumference 85 (95, 104, 114, 125.50) cm 34 (38, 41.75, 45.75, 50.25) inches.
The sweater is designed to have 2-5 cm/1-2” of ease, almost close-fit to the body, choose the size that remains equal or wider than a maximum of 5 cm/2” to your bust circumference. Since it is worked straight from the lower edge to the armpits, the sweater does not remain adherent at the waist.

GAUGE:
Stockinette stitch: 10 cm x 10 cm = 15 sts x 22 rnds on 6 mm/U.S. 10 needles.

Fluffy Hearts Sweater nasce dalla voglia di creare un maglione soffice, caldo e romantico.
Il maglione viene lavorato in tondo senza cuciture bottom-up, dal basso verso l’alto, partendo dal bordo a coste e prosegue dritto a maglia rasata fino al busto. Le maniche sono lavorate separatamente dal corpo (io ho utilizzato la tecnica magic loop 2 alla volta) vengono poi unite al corpo nello sprone. Lo sprone circolare è caratterizzato dal motivo traforato a cuori, verranno poi eseguiti dei ferri accorciati per sollevare il collo dietro. I bordi sono lavorati a coste 2/2. In conclusione vengono cucite le maglie sotto le ascelle.
Il maglione è progettato per rimanere quasi aderente al corpo con qualche cm di agio.

Sono richieste le seguenti abilità: aumenti, diminuzioni, lavorazione in tondo con i ferri circolari, tecnica dei ferri accorciati Wrap & Turn, cucitura invisibile.

Ago da lana, 2 marcapunti.

FILATO UTILIZZATO:
Nel modello viene utilizzato 1 capo di ognuno dei seguenti due filati lavorati assieme. In seguito trovi le indicazioni per sostituirli con un solo filato.
Filato 1 – Sono necessari circa 650 (700, 800, 890, 1005) m del filato Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk (77% alpaca, 23% seta, 25 g, 140m) colore panna 01. Sostituirlo in alternativa a un filato di tipo Aran/Worsted (categoria peso MEDIUM), con cui raggiungere la stessa tensione.
Filato 2 – Sono necessari circa 790 (875, 1000, 1110, 1260) m del filato Drops Baby Merino (100% lana merino, 50g, 175m) colore panna 02. Sostituirlo in alternativa con un filato di tipo Sport (categoria peso FINE), con cui raggiungere la stessa tensione.

Filato unico – Sostituisci tutti e due i filati con uno unico della categoria di peso BULKY. Assicurati sempre di raggiungere la corretta tensione del campione dopo averlo lavato e fatto asciugare su una superficie piana.

MISURE:
Circonferenza busto 85 (95, 104, 114, 125.50) cm
Il maglione è progettato per avere 2-5 cm di agio, quasi aderente al corpo, scegli la taglia che rimane uguale o più larga di massimo 5 cm alla tua circonferenza busto. Siccome viene lavorato dritto dal bordo inferiore alle ascelle, il maglione non rimane aderente nel punto vita.
