Fluid Tee // T Shaped Top

Unfortunately the size range is quite limited with this design, I was not experienced enough with grading when I was designing Fluid Tee. Hopefully, if I can find some time grading this design, I will! It is in my must to do list!

Fluid Tee is a T shaped top with Intarsia colorwork inspired by fluidity in a mellow and meditative perspective. Everything is temporary and can change anytime. There is always a flow. Assymetrical Intarsia colorwork gives to the tee a movement and the path of the colors refers unexpectedness and temporariness of this world.

Fluid Tee is worked flat and bottom-to-up. Each pieces are worked seperately. Front piece is worked with Intarsia with a wavy colorwork pattern which moves spontaniously from bottom to top with decrease and increases. Except the front piece, only Left sleeve is worked with Intarsia. Garter stitch is worked on the edges, the rest of the tee is worked with Stokinette stitch. Stitches are bound off for the neck, then right and left side of the neck are worked seperately. There are deep slits on the edge and garter stitches are bordering these slits. When all pieces are completed, they are blocked and seamed together.

Due to there are not repetitive pattern on the colorwork, chart is not provided because it can be too big. There are only written instructions row by row. Each color block is written in different colors to achieve a slighly shorter pattern and easy reading for the knitters. Each color block is seperated with a “x” symbol, which means the colorway needs to be changed and both needs to be twisted on the wrong side.
