By the end of winter, all you want to think of is spring. The first signs of spring are combined in this shawl. Some sunrays in the top center, below birds which fly North after a long winter, and along the bottom the first blossoms. The bottom edge is formed by an easy to knit lace edging. The center of the blossoms can be knit with nupps or beads.

Light blue shawl: 100 g Zitron Filisilk, 600 m/100g, circular needles 4.5 mm (US7), 1 stitch marker for the center stitch, 220 beads
Greenish yellow shawl: 100 g handspun lace yarn, 600 m/100g, circular needles 5 mm (US8) needles, 1 stitch marker for the center stitch

Am Ende des Winters mag man einfach nur noch an Frühling denken. Auf diesem Tuch sind die Frühlingsboten vereint. Einige Sonnenstrahlen in der oberen Mitte, darunter Vögel, die nach einem langen Winter nach Norden fliegen, und unten tauchen die ersten Blüten auf. Den unteren Abschluss bildet ein leicht zu strickender Spitzenrand. Die Mitte der Blüten kann man als Noppen oder mit Perlen stricken.
