FNUG slipover
FNUG means ‘fluff’ in Danish. The name was chosen because I was craving a fluffy design – something that feels light, yet forms a warm layer. A slipover that fits perfectly over a blouse, suitable for all seasons of the year.
The fit is deliberately a bit looser, allowing the slipover to layer beautifully over a blouse. It’s not an oversized model, but rather an elegant, casual fit that offers just enough room for comfort and style. You can style it however feels best for you, making it adaptable to everyone’s personal preference.
The FNUG slipover is knitted from top to bottom. First, the back yoke is knitted back and forth. Then each shoulder is knit separately, again back and forth. Afterward, the shoulders are joined to form the front yoke. The front and back are then joined together to close the armholes and form the body. The body is knitted entirely in the round. The armhole ribbings are knitted later, in the round, after picking up stitches around the armholes. Finally, the neckline is knitted after picking up stitches around the neck opening.
