EMMA is a small, triangular scarf that you tie loosely around your neck. The inspiration for this design comes from my own childhood: my mother often tied little cotton scarves like this around our necks. The name EMMA is no coincidence – it’s my mother’s middle name. This way, this design carries not only warmth, but also a piece of her with it.

You will start knitting this scarf from one corner. Increases along one edge gradually expand the scarf toward the wide border. Once it reaches the desired size, you bind off. Want to make the scarf bigger or smaller? That’s easy – just knit more or fewer increases.
