This two color, symmetrical, triangle shawl has garter striping on each end and a knit/purl textured center. The increases and decreases provide a depth that is not too shallow and not too deep, creating a cushy, easy to wear wrap. You will often carry your yarn resulting in only a few ends that need to be woven in.

A fun and relaxing knit that lends itself to be an everyday favorite!

Pattern has written instructions with an easy to follow chart for the center textured section. US 4 or 5 needles used depending on gauge and amount of yardage you have, details in pattern. It also includes a schematic for blocking.

Fond of Walking is a reference to scenes in the 2005 movie adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice where Elizabeth Bennet is walking… to Netherfield Park, Pemberly, Lambton, etc. Her fondness of walking helps depict not only her character’s social standing but also her independence, liveliness and love of nature.
