The 150 Fade is an offset triangle shawl consisting of garter stitch and eyelet. Transitions or fades are created as you knit through your 3 color choices. The results will vary depending on whether you select contrasting or complementary colors. You will choose between
Pattern 1 and 2 depending on your preference. Pattern 1 is knit by weight which will optimize the usage of your yarn and result in a larger shawl (approximate size: 82”x 23”).
If you have never knit by weight, I encourage you to give it a try as this pattern provides a great introduction to the process. Pattern 2 is worked exactly as written and does not require the weighing of yarn. There are also two options for finishing the shawl.

Original pattern was completely updated with the addition of an optional ending in Oct. 2022.
