Designed especially to be worn with trainers, these socks feature a band of ribbing around the arch of the foot and a raised heel height to prevent them slipping down into your shoes. They feature a simple wedge toe and a square heel.

The simple cozy texture is easy to memorize and addictive to knit. They are named the Fordingbridge Trainer socks as I was inspired to create the pattern whilst camping under a very starry sky near Fordingbridge.

The instructions are for knitting these socks toe up using the magic loop method on 32”circular needles.

Pattern includes instructions for S, M, L.

You will need one 100g skein of fingering weight sock yarn. Sample socks are knit in Dandelion&Dogwood Perfect Sock in Frenemies. If you wish to work your heel in a contrast yarn (instructions are included) you will need 20g in a contrast colour.
