This shawlette can be worn in the traditional manner with the wide part in the back, or it works really well by placing the wide part in the front as a scarf. It begins with a picot cast on, then the Forest Edge Lace pattern is worked. After completing the lace edging, the remainder of the shawlette is worked with short row shaping in stockinette stitch, ending with a narrow band of seed stitch.
