Modern and eye-catching, the Forest is All A Round Shawl is a lovely modern take on the circular lace shawl inspired by the forest being all ‘around’.

It is worked in the round from the center with a cast on using the Disappearing Loop Method or Emily Ocker’s Method. The finished shawl is blocked with pins. The blocking creates the pointed tips of the edging shown by photographed sample.

The finished size after blocking is a diameter of 47” (119cm).

The photographed sample was knit with 3mm (2.5US) double pointed and circular needles and 3 balls of Malabrigo, (100% merino wool), 50 grams/470 yards (430 meters) in Stone Blue (99); however, there are many other wonderful colours.

The pattern includes charts for the lace work.

Enjoy and happy knitting!
