This lovely sweater is inspired by the geometric shape of herringbone. It is the perfect sweater for the warmer months with its deep rounded neck, 3/4 length sleeves, and lace detail.

The sweater is knitted with 3.5mm (4US) needles from the bottom up in three separate pieces (body and sleeves) and then sewn together. The body is knit in the round from the bottom up until the sleeve holes where the front and back are worked flat. The 3/4 length sleeves are worked entirely in the round. The lace detail is worked for the front of the sweater.

The pattern includes instructions for five sizes: X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large. The corresponding blocked bust measurements for these sizes are 32” (36”, 40”, 44”, 48”).

The sample is knit with sport weight alpaca, Drops Alpaca (100% alpaca) in yellow. Each ball is 50 grams / 167 meters (183 yards). The number of balls of yarn for each size are: 5 (6, 6, 7, 7).

The pattern include a chart for the lace of the sweater.

Hope you enjoy the pattern! Happy knitting!
