YARN:
Sample One (dark brown):
Wooldreamers Manchelopis, held double throughout, in MC Pardo, CC1 Rosa, CC2 Verde.
I used a total of 160 g of this DK wt yarn.

Sample Two (earthy brown):
Honer och Eir Nutiden held double throughout, in MC Luckra, CC1 pink, CC2 green.
I used a total of 225 g of this DK wt yarn.

Sample Three (grey):
Istex Plotulopi held double throughout in MC Lt Grey.
I used a total of 160 g of this DK wt yarn.
Toadstools were needle felted on using a small amount of
red and cream wool roving (optional)

NEEDLES/HOOKS:
US 8/5.00 mm long circular knitting needles
US 9/5.50 mm long circular knitting needles (for color work)

US I/9/5.50 mm crochet hook (for optional crochet CO)
US C/2/2.75 mm crochet hook for slip st seaming OR a darning/yarn needle for mattress st seaming.

NOTIONS:

Needle felting tools

GAUGE:
14 sts + 14 rows = (4”/10 cm) on US 8/5.00 mm knitting needles, in stockinette st, knit flat, blocked + felted.

Gauge swatch measurements unfelted: (9”/23 cm) x (5”/13 cm)
Gauge swatch measurements felted: (7.5”/19 cm) x (3.5”/9 cm)

Finished Unfelted Mat Dimensions:
(23”/58 cm) x (19”/48 cm)

Finished Felted Mat Dimensions:
