Play It Again 2024 is an opportunity for knitters to knit my patterns together in Knitting in the Loft starting March 1st. This pattern, along with my others, is being offered at 20% off until March 15, 2024, no coupon code needed. Come join us in the Loft!

As the garter stitch path weaves its way between the trees, enjoy the sparkle of the sun on the leaves of your trees. By using yarn overs, decreases, and perhaps, some beads, create a lovely warm cowl with a woodsy theme. With the thorough descriptions of the stitches used, and written and charted instructions, this cowl can be enjoyed by beginner knitters and advanced.

This cowl averages 8 inches (20 cm) tall, and can be 25 inches, 50 inches, or up to 75 inches in circumference (60 cm, 90 cm, or 120 cm). This pattern is both written and charted, and is a quick project for a “last minute” gift.

Most of the cowls knitted have used fingering or sock weight solid color or tonal yarns and beads.

Beads are optional. If you decide to bead as charted, you will need (6/0 for fingering, 8/0 seed bead with a large hole works, too) :

Small - 472 beads
Medium - 944 beads
Large - 1,416 beads.

Once you purchase this pattern it is yours. It is not refundable. Shop thoughtfully.
