It’s time for another pair of socks! This time I went for a relatively new technique for me - Estonian inlay knitting (also called “Roosimine”).

We start with a textured cuff which uses twisted stitches, two stitch cables and bobbles. It’s really fun to knit, especially that the rest of the sock is pretty “plain”.

After the cuff, we start knitting a two color Estonian inlay motif which features one of my favorite flowers - forget me nots. I’ve added a link to the video I’ve used for learning this technique. The process is really cool and I think it’s easier than stranded colorwork.

These socks are inspired by Estonian inlay motif socks by https://www.ravelry.com/designers/marie-eve-wedge. I love all of her patterns and I hope you’ll check them out. They are gorgeous.

The socks are one size only but can be adapted (notes in the pattern) for a bigger or smaller size.

I used about 30 grams of the main color yarn for one sock.

This pattern is more like a general guideline on making these socks but don’t hesitate to ask if you have some problems. I’ll be happy to help. You can also tag me on instagram if you decide to share your finished socks, I’d love to see them! I’m @crochetedbybogusia (and yes, my main thing is crocheting, don’t be alarmed!).

Please note that this pattern has not been tested. If you notice any errors, please let me know and I’ll fix them.
