I designed the Forsythia tank as a transitional tank which I could wear as a vest in the Spring and as a tank in the Summer, then a vest again in the Fall. The simple, but eye-catching cable detail makes it fun to pair with prints and solids. The top is worked top-down starting with the back panel, fronts are picked up from the shoulder shaping stitches and worked to form the neckline. After the underarm shaping, front and back are joined to work in the round. I-cord edging along the neck and armholes add the finishing touch.
