Overview
A quick pair of what I call ‘hiking’ socks. Designed to fit just above a sneaker with an easily memorable lace pattern, these are perfect for using leftover sock yarn scraps.

Specifics

Yarn:
Fingering weight superwash yarn
I used Penney Lane in their fingering lane base for the main color and Hue Loco in their merino sock as the contrasting heel and toe

Needles:
US 1.5 2.5 mm, in preferred method for knitting on small circumferences
I used 32 inch needles for magic loop

Gauge:
This is a fingering weight project
19 sts by 24 sts in 2 inches with gauge needles, unblocked, in stockinette

Sizes:
Three sizes 1(2)3
Size 1 is 56 sts (5.9 inches 15cm circumference, pre-block)
Size 2 (sample size) is 64 sts (6.75 inches 17.1cm circumference, pre-block)
