This pattern is knit in the round. It is a regular size. The pattern calls for 9 inch circular needles or needles of your preferred sock knitting method. I find using the circulars is easier when doing colour stranded work. It also requires stitch markers, double pointed needles, darning needle and scissors. The yarn used is in balls of 100g and will leave lots of yarn left for more socks or another project. My socks are done in groups with the same colours used on different designs. This is part of the Christmas range. I decided to do this as I suffer the dreaded second sock syndrome, so thought I would not knit two socks the same. I either put two socks together of the same colour combos but used differently or a different pattern from the range using the same yarn colours. You can find out a bit more on my No second sock syndrome group. Happy Knitting. A small amount of scrap yarn in green is required for duplicate stitching the stalks.
