Foxgloves Blanket
One of my favourite dog walks is on the top of Countisbury Hill, I can see the hill from my bedroom window and watch the changing colours throughout the seasons. In the early summer the hill is covered with foxgloves.
Foxgloves is inspired by the colour of the Foxgloves flowers and made using a random collection of background colours with a defined set of colours for the flower spikes.
This pattern is published in my Foxgloves e-book
The book contains 3 blanket designs and concentrates on colour rather than crochet.
All 3 of the blankets are made using the same motifs in the same layout, which contains a subtle zig zag element to represent the shape of the foxglove flower spikes.
The difference in the designs is the colour placement technique.
The designs are made with 4 ply/fingering yarn, however measurements and yarn quantities are also included for DK yarn.
The pattern contains detailed colour and yarn recommendations
Written and charted Motif instructions in US and UK terms.
