Foxpark is a simple short row garter-stitch scarf. It closes into a loop using buttons, so it can be worn as a continuous cowl and looped two or three times. But when worked at gauge, it’s long enough to style in attractive traditional scarf knots, and can also be worn as a…well, as a scarf.

The finished shape is closest to a long, thin crescent.

You’ll need:
-Approximately 210-235 yards of worsted-weight yarn; the samples are shown in Nashua Handknits Snowbird (discontinued) and DK to worsted handspun; in my opinion, the former, heavier yarn looks much better.
-One 40”+ circular knitting needle in US 9-10/5.5-6.0mm, or size needed for gauge
-Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
-Crochet hook (I/5.5mm)
-4 buttons, to fit eyelet buttonholes, or 3/4”-1” diameter
-Optional: thread and needle for sewing buttons, if needed

Gauge is 12 sts and 24 rows in 4” of blocked garter stitch. Be sure to check your gauge and use the needles you need to work at gauge comfortably, for predictable results that match the samples.

The promo period for this scarf is over; thanks to everyone who played early adopter and left such kind words and project page reviews!
