The Fred Hat is a one-size hat with a fold-over cuff. The finished circumference is 24in/61 cm. It is reversible, and double knit in two colors. This is an advanced knitting pattern. It is recommended that you carefully read the Double Knitting section of the pattern to understand the technique before beginning your hat.

157 yds/143.5m DK weight yarn (C1)
Sample knit with Hands & Heart Farm DK in the color “Hyacinth” (less than one skein)
157 yds/143.5m DK weight yarn (C2)
Sample knit with Hands & Heart Farm DK in the color “Ocean” (less than one skein)
3.25 mm/US size 3 circular needles
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Cable needle (optional)

Gauge:
18 stitches x 27 rows = 4in x 4in
