“Freedom”

This shawl has been created as part of my episode pieces for the 6th season of the Outlander story.

Its been made with DK weight yarn that’s been hand dyed here in the UK and uses a Donegal nep base that adds texture to the finished piece.

I have created it as a beginner shawl, using basic stitches that create a shawl I hope anyone progressing from a starter piece on their knitting journey will be proud to make and wear.

Its written row by row, with no charts, and needs no blocking on finishing.

The arm warmers seen in the photo at the end of the pattern are made to coordinate the stitches of this shawl and the pattern name of “Liberty” tie with this one being “Freedom.”
