Construction
This sweater is worked from top down, in the round, starting at the neck trim. Short rows are then worked back and forth to help raise the back neck shaping. You’ll continue the yoke shaping with increases, working in the round. Once that’s done, you’ll split at the armhole. The body is worked in the round, then you will pick up the stitches for the sleeve and work in the round.
There is an option to add a contrast yarn/color at the sleeve. The sample is made with a suri alpaca yarn held double, which gently fades in at the elbow to the cuff edge.
