French Vanilla Cowl, a romantic very feminine cowl that also can be worn as a wrap. It has the feel of an accessory that ladies in period movies or TV shows would wear~

The yarn used is a cashmere, merino and silk blend, so very decadent and soft. The ribbon is actually a flag yarn that has been doubled is 65” long and 1/2” wide. You will need a darning needle for weaving in the ribbon.

Suitable for the advanced beginner. Due to the nature of the stitch pattern it is advisable to knit loosely, especially at the beginning lace pattern where you will knit 5 stitches together.

The gauge is 2 stitches and 5 rows in 2”. The needle size 15 makes this a fast project.

It took one skein split into two skeins and held double throughout. Color is called French Vanilla!

Have fun creating the French Vanilla Cowl~
